I am co-founder and lead curator at Oxtail Studio & Gallery in Berkeley’s Arts and Antiques District. I write copy for press and content for web along with manging exhibitions and resident artists. At Oxtail we produce, exhibit and sell locally made artwork and handcrafted goods. We lease private studio spaces and operate a gallery storefront where we host exhibitions and events.

My Luxury Flights is a web-based travel startup that is changing the model of luxury travel by making it more affordable and accessible. I write pages detailing hotspots in cities around the world, and give travel tips like where to stay and what to do. I’ve been working on MLF since January, and the site launches in August 2015.

G&G uses all organic or locally grown flowers and abstains from toxic floral design methods, such as the use of Oasis foam and dyed flowers. I worked as the assistant to the lead floral designer, preparing arrangements for events and retail.

Collection relocation: I assisted the Hearst with the immense task of relocating approximately 1.7 million objects. I also helped implement a new bar code system. Every object is packaged in a way that is safe for moving, assigned a barcode, photographed, and compiled on a database.
Gallery of Natural Sciences Volunteer - 6 mths
I helped create faux redwood trees from readymade plastic foliage and real redwood bark, which now forms part of an exhibit in the Gallery of California Natural Sciences. The task involved intense cooperation with others and attention to detail.

I assisted Dr. Kim Shelton at excavations in Nemea at the Temple of Zeus and in Mycenae at Petsas House. Upon returning to the US, I scanned photos from excavation and used Illustrator to trace these images, ultimately rendering graphics detailing vase patterns and shapes for publication.
